The Two Coupe Society and Violette Underground are the creations of internationally-acclaimed, award-winning Canadian burlesque performer Violette Coquette.

A performer, choreographer, researcher, and producer—as well as a visual designer and illustrator with a master’s degree in visual design—Violette thrives in the arena of live theatrical cabaret creation, collaborating with award-winning cocktail bars such as Woodwork and Bar Clementine to produce sold-out immersive pop-up burlesque productions.

Violette’s two current offerings are the Two Coupe Society and The Violette Underground. Both shows create a one-of-a-kind immersive experience for all five senses:

• The Two Coupe Society is a mix of Violette’s three favourite things: secret societies, burlesque, and cocktails (stirred well, garnished with absurdity). The show features a host, Violette as “The Lady of the Coupe”, three core Society members, as well as a cast of rotating burlesque performers and cabaret entertainers.

• The Violette Underground is an intimate one-woman show, a collaboration between the cocktail bar, Violette, and the audience.
